Privacy
The short version: this site counts visits, but it does not track you.
What we collect
Global Golden News keeps simple visit totals on its own server: how many times each page was viewed, roughly how many people visited each day, which country they were in, and which website linked here. Nothing is sent to an analytics company.
No cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. Your IP address is used for a moment to look up your country and to avoid counting you twice in one day, and is then discarded — it is never written down. The daily count uses a one-way code built with a secret that is replaced every day, so a visit today cannot be linked to one tomorrow. Only the totals are kept, for about thirteen months.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, you are not counted at all. There are no accounts and no tracking pixels.
Country lookups use IP geolocation data by DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
Newsletter sign-up
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we keep the name and email address you enter, the date, and which page you signed up on — nothing else, and not your IP address. They are used only to send you the newsletter, through our email provider. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask for your details to be deleted at any time by writing to support@globalgoldennews.com.
Server logs
Your web host records ordinary access logs (IP address, time, page requested) as every web server does. Those logs belong to the hosting provider and are not used to build a profile of you.
Other sites
Each story names the publisher that reported it. If you go to their site, you are under their privacy policy, and they may well track you. That is outside our control.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page changes with it.
